I am not going to compare to New York or Chicago pizza - cause I have never had pizza from either- but for a well made tasty pizza it amazing- best thing of you are feeling the pizza vibe but others are not there is plenty of other choices -

After hearing great reviews about the Beer Baron my husband & I ordered one for deliver. After ordering the large Land Baron that comes with 6 toppings for $21.00 I was told that would be $24.00 with delivery. I was asked Cash or charge. May I write a check, I asked & yes of course again I was told $24.00. So I wrote my check for $24.00 & got out cash for a tip. When the pizza arrived the guy told me $27.00. I looked down at the receipt he was holding & he had penciled in $3.00. I told him the said $24.00 & the pizza is only $21.00 online. She smugly said " I can call them, do you want me to call them?" at this point I just wanted him to go away. So my husband gave me more $ & he either ended up with a $7.00 tip or the decided to charge more for delivery I don't know, but I will not order form them AGAIN. It was hard to enjoy my pizza after that & will not comment on the flavor.

Great pizza. Moved to town about a year ago and hadn't really found a good local spot I really liked that was quick, cheap, and good. This is all three the staff is very friendly. The second time I went there I got a medium pizza. I tried the beer baron on half but it only came out with bacon on it. I'm not a picky person and the waitress apologized profusely. She offered to have another pizza cooked up free of charge but I declined. A few minutes later the owner came out with a fresh piping hot slice of the beer baron and handed to me saying that it was him that screwed up and that he wanted me to be able to at least get a chance to try what I had originally ordered. It was delicious and the fact that he was very genuine and proud of his product was nice to see. I plan on making it a regular stop.

Pizza Baron was the first place we had pizza when we moved here almost a year ago. Yeah, thought I had posted a review before this, but anyway we have LOVED it from the start! We live right down the street and although there is another place around the block we choose Pizza Baron as often as we can. The crust is thin and crispy the way we like it, with a little bit of char from the oven. The sauce is tangy and the cheese and meats are delish. We have tried a couple of the specialty pizzas but they are kind of pricy. The gyro pizza is awesome and I have loved every Stromboli I've tried. The spaghetti is good although at times it is a bit watery, although I'm not sure if its the sauce or just not drained well (we always get carry-out if that was not obvious). I would eat here once a week if I could, but alas we settle for about once a month.

I had the most wonderful lunch today, a fresh made calzone. The sauce and.crust was amazing. I think I could eat one everyday. The owner visited with everyone and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Every staff person was helpful and friendly! I'll definitely spend more time at the Pizza Baron. I hear fresh cut fries are coming soon.

The BEST Chicago style pizza in Great Falls... An excellent thin crust... We devour it when we eat there!! Whole mozzarella is the secret to great pizza and theirs does not fail....

Well guys I'm a bit disappointed, we have had nothing but great food from your establishment, until tonight. The pizza was good like always and the spaghetti & meatball was fine. My problem stems from the meatball sandwich, I tried it for the first time tonight but I couldn't tell you how it actually tasted because I could not eat it. I am attaching photos to show what I actually received. I will probably not be back for quite some time until there is more quality control, I feel like this was a mistake but this type of food should not leave your kitchen this way.

Pretty good pizza, pasta, etc. I liked their thin crust and cheese mixture a lot- I think I was most happy with their plain cheese pizza! Their side salad was pretty unhealthy, nothing but iceberg and cheese, which was a little unappetizing. We also got their apple cake, which would have been really great if it had not been burnt on the bottom. But all in all, a very pleasant experience and good value for the quality of dishes!

I love the pizza here, the crust is great. Very few places still make their crust but Pizza Baron does. I dont usually like sausage on my pizza but I love their Beer Baron sausage. I also like the fact that they serve pizza by the slice, that's real handy at lunch. I think this is one of the 2 best pizza places in Great Falls.

Picked up a few pies for an employee meeting... the chicken alfredo and a pepporoni. The staff were super happy as they all love Pizza Baron!! Crust was nice and thin, ingredients were fresh! Thank you!! Will come back again.

I love the concept of this place, the owner is a good man. I'm not too fond of the pizza. I know you out a lot into your smoked Barron's. I had one from under the heat lamp rack and was really upset because food is so much better fresh cooked. Cook them fresh!!!!!!!!!!

Stopped in for a slice of fresh hot pizza just like the sign said. It was cold and not so fresh. I told them so hopefully they will pay better attention next time. I will give them one more try, but two strikes and they will be out!!!! Very cozy location........ Update: As promised I went back on the last day of 2011 and the slice of pizza was hot fresh and very tasty. So I will certainly be back for more. The garden salad was good too! I say support your local neighborhood establishments and skip the chains.............

Good food is hard enough to come by in Montana, but good Pizza? Believe it or not, Pizza Baron delivers a solid and somewhat unorthodox menu full of Pizza,Calzones and Strombolis. This place is an oasis in a town dominated by big chain pizza restaurants.

Being from the TRI-STATE area; (NYC, NJ, CT), I have no idea how any one can call this a new york style pizza. At best its comparable to a by the slice after hours truck stop pizza from a revolving tray. FYI, real pizza is either from a coal or wood fed oven PERIOD......

I got a gyro turnover...the crust was good but the ingredients not so good I feel like the gyro meat could have been cooked prior to putting into the crust to be baked and same with the onions I did not try the pizza but based on the looks of the pizza's on the customers tables I saw a lot of limp slices I myself love a more ny style pizza will I go here again? I felt their was no warmth coming from the people who own the place other than being chummy to people they actually know. The music was good the decor mediocre.
